This page is provided for transparency and should not be treated as legal advice. If a project has regulated data, industry-specific requirements, or contractual privacy obligations, those details should be handled in the project agreement.
Information we collect
When someone contacts the studio, we may collect the name, email address, organization, project details, budget range, timeline, project links, uploaded files, shared asset links, and any other information shared through the contact form, email, or project conversations.
The website may also collect basic technical information such as browser type, device type, referring page, approximate location, and pages visited. This helps us understand site performance and improve the experience.
How we use information
We use submitted information to respond to inquiries, evaluate project fit, prepare proposals, communicate about services, deliver studio work, and maintain business records.
We may also use aggregated or non-identifying information to improve the website, refine service offerings, and understand which pages are useful to visitors.
AI-assisted workflows
Prompt Affect uses AI tools as part of its studio process. Information from an inquiry or project may be used to draft responses, summarize requirements, review code, explore ideas, or improve delivery quality.
We do not intentionally submit confidential client information to AI tools unless it is useful for the work and appropriate for the engagement. Sensitive production credentials, private access tokens, and payment details should not be sent through the website contact form.
Cookies and analytics
The site may use cookies, server logs, analytics tools, performance monitoring, or similar technologies to keep the website reliable and understand how visitors use it.
Visitors can usually adjust browser settings to limit cookies or clear stored data. Some site features may behave differently if cookies are disabled.
How information is shared
We do not sell personal information. We may share limited information with service providers that help operate the website, manage email, host infrastructure, process forms, support analytics, or deliver client work.
Uploaded files may be stored with an object storage provider and linked in studio notification emails so the inquiry can be reviewed without sending large attachments through email.
We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect the studio, to prevent misuse, or as part of a business transition such as a merger, acquisition, or transfer of assets.
Retention
We keep inquiry and project information for as long as needed to respond, manage the relationship, meet business obligations, preserve useful project context, or comply with legal and accounting requirements.
When information is no longer needed, we take reasonable steps to delete, de-identify, or archive it.
Your choices
Anyone may contact the studio to request access, correction, or deletion of personal information, subject to reasonable identity verification and any obligations that require the studio to keep certain records.
Marketing emails, if used, will include a way to unsubscribe. Direct project and service communications may continue when needed for active work.
Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and operational safeguards to protect information. No website, email system, hosting provider, or online workflow can be guaranteed perfectly secure.
If something looks sensitive, confidential, or regulated, contact the studio first so we can choose the right intake method.
Children
This website and the studio services are intended for businesses, founders, and professional teams. They are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.
